Pick a piece up and you feel it straight away. The glossy black handles sit sleek and balanced in the hand, set against a neatly grooved, mirror-polished bolster in stainless steel. Each piece carries the same gently curved, tapered silhouette found across the collection, held together by three sturdy rivets along the spine, a clean, confident look without the fuss.

Every shape in the set earns its place. A pointed spade blade and a wide flat spreader handle firm and soft cheeses respectively, a slim two-prong fork lifts and serves without crumbling, two curved fork-tipped knives pierce and cut in one motion, a serrated blade with cut-out holes glides through soft cheese without sticking, and a solid rectangular blade handles anything firm enough to need real pressure. Eight tools, each doing one job well.
