Laguiole is a French mountain town located approximately 500km south of Paris. It’s famous for its cattle and cheese, but above else, It’s cutlery. The original Laguiole style knife was produced by ironsmith Jean-Pierre Calmels in 1829 and was used as a farmer’s knife. Since then, it has been refined into the high-quality steak knife we know today, used by many famous restaurants around the world.
The Vita Vinci Laguiole Champagne saber ebony is a modern take on the original French Laguiole steak knife. The original bee symbol is cut out of the steel to decorate the ergonomic ebony handle. The saber knife features a large blade, enabling you to saber any champagne bottle with ease.
